So, I lost the antenna for the wireless on my mobo and I’m too cheap to get another one. Yay copper wire!

It definitely does work. My signal strength is “very low”, but that’s no big deal because I’m still getting the same speeds on the internet that I usually do. Ping on games is slightly lower, but I can deal with it. For some reason, XP shows my connection speed at 24 Mbps, although it should be, and usually is, 54… Oh well. The coils actually helped and it fits the connector okay.
